This Cheddar has a smooth, melt-in-the mouth yellow paste with salted butter aromas and medium intensity flavours of fruit and hazelnut.
La Fromagerie Champêtre was established in 1995 by Luc Livernoche, a former Saputo employee. The building was originally located in Repentigny and produced Cheddar and fresh cheeses. Ripened cheese production began in 2001. The family business was relocated (and expanded) in the Le Gardeur industrial park in 2003.
