Founded in 1957 at Montreal’s Jean-Talon Market as a small artisanal butcher shop, the family business began with Antonio Le Donne, a specialist in homemade charcuterie. He was later joined by his son Tony, who inherited the same passion and expertise. In 1991, the company started local distribution under the Capitol banner, and by 1992, it officially became Les Charcuteries Papille.
