Unripened
Louché features a soft creamy white paste with delicate fresh milk aromas. It offers subtle lactic flavours with a light tang. Very fresh.
Louché is an unripened moulded cheese presented in a strainer. A versatile cheese, it can be served simply as a spread, in a sandwich with smoked fish, or as a dessert with a fruit coulis and maple syrup. It is so named because a ladle is used to remove it from its mould.
The first cheeses made by Les fromages du Verger were introduced in 2008, one year after Brigitte and Michel Guérin acquired an apple orchard on a mountain in St-Joseph-du-Lac.
