Le Bocké has an amber-coloured rind and an earthy, buttery aroma. Its soft and creamy paste presents wild mushroom and butter flavours, with a hazelnut finish.
Introduced in 2009, Le Bocké is washed with Bock de Joliette, a 100% natural amber beer produced by the L’Alchimiste microbrewery, located in Joliette.
La Fromagerie Champêtre was established in 1995 by Luc Livernoche, a former Saputo employee. The building was originally located in Repentigny and produced Cheddar and fresh cheeses. Ripened cheese production began in 2001. The family business was relocated (and expanded) in the Le Gardeur industrial park in 2003.
